About Me
I am a native San Diegan and moved to Escondido in 1974. I have always loved animals. I was brought up in a home full of pets. My mother and father put up with a collection of cats, dogs, tortoises, a pocket gopher, birds, snakes, & rats. My parents instilled in me the importance of commitment to a pet for its entire life. Spaying and neutering was an absolute.
For the past 4 years, A Dog's Life Pet Sitting Service has been solely operated by me. (Unfortunately, this made the company picnic a real snore.) This year, I started working with a partner, Daneen Olsen, who owns her own business called, “Stay At Home Pets.” Daneen is younger and still has lots of energy so she also covers the south end of Escondido including Rancho Bernardo and Poway. After the October wildfires, this made a lot of sense to have someone to depend on in case of emergencies. I was on vacation during the fires, and luckily I had Daneen and my other great friend, Fawn Allen, who evacuated with my clients’ pets.
My husband of a hundred years and I recently moved to Murrieta and I am dividing my time between North Escondido and the Murrieta/Temecula area.
Daneen and I understand how important pets are to their owners, and how he or she is a beloved member of the family. We are dedicated to taking care of the clients' pets as if they were our own.
